Graco has bought down a great count of baby products. Some of the best ones are a good line of strollers that are designed to fold up when it’s not into use.
While the newer models are designed to fold with one hand. And some older models might require a little or some more effort, mechanism which is located at various points on the stroller which must be adjusted in a certain order.
Opening or unfolding it might be quite tricky especially when you don’t know which button to push or latches to release before an attempt to pull the stroller upright. There are basically two kinds of strollers
- Singe strollers for a single child.
- Double stroller for two children.
Single stroller
To unfold a single stroller, first open it on a flat surface with the wheels on the ground and the handle must face upward. Then snap the handle into place by pressing the button located on the outer sidebars of the handle and then pulling the handlebars upward until there is a clicking sound in that.
Next release the side latches on either side of the stroller to open it. For that locate the latches by looking at the centre of the side of the stroller.
These are completely plastic latches which hook from one frame bar to the other frame bar. These latches keep the stroller together making it possible for carrying the stroller with one hand without worrying about the stroller opening.
Place one hand on the handlebars and one hand on the baby tray, then push outward in opposite directions until you hear a snap and the stroller is going to get open for use.
The double stroller
For unfolding place, the stroller on a flat surface with the wheels pointed down and the handle facing up. Then locate the storage latch that is found at the top of the stroller between the handlebars. The button is oval-shaped. Then remove the safety strap from the latch prior to pressing the button.
The strap holds the stroller tightly together for easy transport. Remove the strap and then press the button for opening the stroller.
Do pull the handlebars up to straighten the stroller to a proper position until as snap sound is audible. Then the double stroller can be stiffened if it’s the first time when you are using it and this might require holding down the front seat while pulling up on the handlebars. With the time passing by you will be able to unfold the stroller using the one-handed method.
Folding them back
For folding it back do use the ball of your foot to push down on the brake lever which is located near the rear wheels of the stroller. Then gently push on the stroller to confirm that the brakes are set. Then grip the front edge of the stroller canopy if it’s present and pull the canopy back towards the rear of the stroller.
